12" × 16" Original Painting of Cathedral in Full Color
I really challenged myself to push color in this piece, exploring the space where realism meets a more expressive, playful palette. I wanted it to feel both vibrant and moody, while still holding onto the sense that you could have stepped outside and seen it just like this.
Soft greens and blues shape the shadows along the columns, while subtle pinks build depth throughout the architecture. There's a quiet warmth coming from light spilling out of the windows. It ground the piece against a sky that leans full cotton candy, easily my favorite kind.
